A B O U T  D R.  A S H L E Y

 

Dr. Robert Ashley was educated at Harvard University, where he received his B.A. in philosophy, and at the University of California, San Diego, where he received his M.D.  He completed his residency training in adult psychiatry at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute (now known as the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior), where he was also Chief Resident. 

 

In addition to his private practice in Brentwood, Dr. Ashley teaches psychiatry as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Geffen School of Medicine, and as an Attending Psychiatrist at UCLA's Mood Disorders Clinic.

 

Dr. Ashley is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.  He serves on the executive committee of the Psychiatric Clinical Faculty Association at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
